Clifford T. Bellis, Jr., 86, peacefully passed away on August 30, 2014, surrounded by his children. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 3 at 7 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until service time. He was born in Indianapolis on April 10, 1928, to the late Clifford T. and Florence Bellis Sr. He was married for 44 years to his beloved late wife, Georgia Shaw Blankenship Bellis. Cliff was in the Navy during the WWII from 1945-46. He was a member of the American Legion Post 465 and the VFW 261. He loved to play cards, especially with his children and grandchildren, and he did up to the day before his passing. Cliff was an avid bowler and participated in many tournaments throughout Indiana. He loved to deep sea fish in Florida with his late father-in-law and brother-in-law. He was wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Beth Ann Campbell; and grandson, Michael Paul Worley. He is survived by his children, David (Therese) Blankenship, Cathy Worley, Evelyn (Tiger) Cornwell, and Betty (Don) Wagner; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cliff’s name to Community Health Hospice.     Daddy you where my first true love you were always there for me no matter what. You helped me through bad time and help enjoy the good times. It’s going to real hard to go on without you but I know I have too thank you for ALL you did for our family . You were there when I entered this world and I was there when you left it. I will miss you dearly, you will always be in my heart you were the best daddy a girl could ask for R.I.P. My sweet daddy until we meet again.
